Demicrosoftification and State of Video Production for Creator Empowerment.
Last year, we hosted our first ever Creators Summit. We invited several of our YouTube partners to the 45Drives HQ for an open discussion on all things data storage and homelabbing. We hosted incredible names like Wendell from Level1Techs, Jeff Geerling, Jeff from Craft Computing and Techno Tim. Tom Lawrence of Lawrence Systems was also able to join us remotely for some sessions (an injury prevented him from joining us in person).
In addition to some insightful conversations, we conducted a wrap-up livestream from a sailboat that highlighted the major takeaways from the event. You can watch that here.
We had so much fun that we’re doing it again! This year’s Creators Summit is taking place at 45Drives HQ for a second year. It will run from August 27th through August 30th and bring together even more amazing minds. In addition to our returning guests, we will also be hosting Brett from Raid Owl, Jay from Learn Linux TV and our friends at Rocky/CIQ. This year's topic is Demicrosoftification. We'll conclude this event with a livestream featuring these creators, where they'll answer questions from the community. Click here to submit yours.
Submit Your QuestionThis year, with our incredible list of creators and partners, 45Drives intends to collectively explore strategies to overcome the constraints and challenges posed by proprietary enterprise technologies.
We are going to learn how to leverage open source solutions to gain greater control, flexibility, and efficiency in our technological endeavors to improve the customer experience and our everyday working lives.
We will also be exploring how this theme impacts the video production space. The takeaways from this event are sure to be extraordinary and we cannot wait to see what it brings.
In addition to its main theme of Demicrosoftification, we will also explore the State of Video Production for Creator Empowerment. Through sessions and open dialogue, we will discover the latest trends and advancements in video production technology. As well as endeavor to understand how to make technology seamless and user-friendly, enabling creators to focus on their craft without technical barriers.
Recently, our President & Co-Founder, Doug Milburn, was featured in the Korea IT Times discussing this topic. Click here to check it out.
